Project Overview
I created an explainer video that delves into the rich history of Qatar and its current human rights conflicts.
My role encompassed creative direction, visual design, and editing to produce a compelling and informative narrative.
Client Objectives
The client required a video that:
- Clearly explains Qatar's historical background
- Highlights ongoing human rights issues
- Engages viewers with dynamic visuals and a coherent narrative
One of the main challenges was simplifying complex historical and political information while maintaining viewer engagement and sensitivity towards the subject.
Solution
To meet these objectives and overcome the challenges, I integrated a variety of infographics, including maps, graphs, and old images. Each visual element was enhanced with custom hand-made animations in After Effects, ensuring a dynamic and engaging presentation. The use of these animated infographics helped to clarify complex information and maintain viewer interest throughout the video.
